Tailor & Wolf is an award-winning interior design, architecture and branding studio specialising in hospitality, food & beverage, high-end residential, PRS and healthcare projects. The company’s journey began in 2008, when CEO Audrey Gaffney founded her own design studio during the economic recession. Over the following decade the practice grew steadily, gaining recognition for its thoughtful, design-led approach to interiors, and in 2019 rebranded from Audrey Gaffney & Associates to Tailor & Wolf — a name better reflecting the company’s identity, creativity and ambition.
With nearly two decades of experience transforming spaces through design, Audrey understood the importance of a workspace that reflects a company’s brand and values. Following the rebrand, she wanted the studio’s own environment to embody the same design philosophy delivered to clients, and identified the boardroom — where ideas are shared, clients welcomed and decisions made — as the place to begin. A key requirement was the use of natural, sustainable materials that aligned with her design ethos, including a reclaimed wood panel feature to bring warmth and character into the room.
After discovering Wonderwall Studios at SurfaceWow, Audrey immediately recognised the potential of their reclaimed wood designs. Their handcrafted wooden panels, created from salvaged materials, perfectly matched the sustainable and design-driven approach she wanted for the new boardroom.
The Wheels wooden wall panel from Wonderwall Studios was chosen as the standout feature for the space. Made from reclaimed hardwood sourced from traditional building materials in Indonesia, each panel carries its own natural story shaped by weather, time and craftsmanship.
The linear pattern and rich, natural tones of the handcrafted wooden panel provided the ideal backdrop to frame the new Tailor & Wolf branding while adding depth and texture to the room.
