Every boardroom across the country pretty much has the same look and feel. Boardroom table, chairs, coffee\/tea table, projector, screen and flipchart. What if you could transform a boardroom so that every time your staff gather for a meeting or strategy session that they could be inspired?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It doesn\u2019t have to be mad colours or textures if that\u2019s not for you. If you want a muted boardroom but still want it to be inspiring and to offer opportunity for creativity, In this boardroom, the brief was to change out the look. It had gotten stale and everyone was ho-hum gathering in the room. There was no energy, staff were just going through the motions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Surface Wow got to work and refreshed every surface in the room. No furniture was thrown out, it was all upstyled and restyled. Architectural film<\/a><\/strong> is a great way to change existing furniture. There is over 300 types of finishes and colours, it\u2019s durable, long lasting and you can put a hot cup down without a coaster and it won\u2019t leave a mark. (How many boardroom tables have fallen foul to that one hot cup?!)<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It wasn\u2019t just the furniture that was transformed. The doors were wrapped and renewed aswell as the ceiling.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The biggest impact made in this SurfaceWow Boardroom was on the walls. One wall became a magnetic dry wipe wall which allows the walls to become a part of every meeting. Ideas are shared, notes stuck on and any manner of creativity can be drawn on the walls..and removed just as easily.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A Wow Wall was also created for the company logo.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Instead of simply painting the wall and attaching a sign of the corporate logo, rustic cork panels<\/strong><\/a> were attached to the wall. These renewable materials give texture and a 3D feeling with the corporate logo attached to the panels.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

More environmentally friendly materials were used on the other feature wall. Using Surface Wow merino wool panels completed the look and gives the room a warm, natural feeling. Not only is this room a living, breathing, creative space, it\u2019s a great room for recording as the merino wool panels act as a natural absorber of sound, helping with the acoustics.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
