Marine Life Bray Aquarium wanted a space that didn’t just showcase marine life but felt like part of the ocean itself. Working with Chris McCreedy Design, the brief was to create a vibrant, immersive environment that would spark children’s imaginations while delivering unexpected wonder for adults.
To bring this to life, Off The Wall Creative selected the Dazzler Range SL Ocean Silver from Surface Wow, chosen for its movement, reflectivity and visual impact. Applied to the ceiling, these metallic decorative wall panels create the illusion of light dancing on water, turning an ordinary surface into something alive and dynamic.
The Dazzler panels work on multiple levels — visually opening the room, adding depth and movement that echoes the fluid nature of the sea, and delivering a sensory moment that encourages visitors to pause and engage. Used as metallic wall cladding panels, the SL Ocean Silver finish reflects light in a way that feels playful and perfectly suited to an aquarium environment, making it one of the most memorable textured decorative wall surfaces within the attraction.
The aquarium team were thrilled with the result. What began as a desire to introduce more energy and colour evolved into a defining feature that now shapes the entire visitor experience — demonstrating how innovative designer wall panels can transform experiential and family-focused interiors.
