Sarah followed that advice when she bought her first home, an apartment that was over 15 years old and had not been done up since. The kitchen was a great size but it was dark and drab. It still had the style from the time when it was built – wooden doors, grey appliances and black countertops with a mismatched counter added another time.
So Sarah set about changing the kitchen. After buying your first home, there is always budget constraints. Sarah didn’t want to spend a fortune but wanted it to look great at the same time.

From a range of over 300 colours and finishes to choose from, Linda picked a colour scheme that was edgy and reflected her personality. She also wanted to brighten up the kitchen so she picked a dusky pink colour for her kitchen doors.
To compliment the dusky pink, she opted for a white marble effect which really helped transform the kitchen worktops. The difference was like light and day.
