Jane Dennehy is a Cork-based interior designer with two decades of experience and a fine arts degree from the University of Ulster, creating spaces and bringing clients’ visions to life since 2010.
When Carbery Group, a leading global food and ingredients company, approached Jane to revamp its Cork City Centre head office, sustainability was the key requirement — the company wanted a design concept that reflected its commitment to the environment.
Jane proposed a solution built around two of her favourite sustainable products from Surface Wow: Evergreen Moss and Corkwall Stripe panels, both chosen for their strong environmental credentials as well as their aesthetic and functional qualities. Evergreen Moss, a 100% genuine moss panel, brought a natural touch to the office with easy self-installation and zero maintenance, while absorbing up to 90% of surrounding sound to support a calmer, more productive workspace. Corkwall Stripe panels added texture and visual interest, their renewable, recyclable and biodegradable cork construction aligning with Carbery’s sustainability values while creating a warm, elegant backdrop.
Together, the two products transformed Carbery’s office into a sustainable oasis, balancing nature-inspired design with acoustic performance to create a visually captivating yet calm and tranquil workspace — a design that embodies Carbery Group’s commitment to the environment in every detail.
