ALTU Architects is an award-winning architectural practice known for its diverse, well-balanced expertise, delivering design and construction services across residential, office, healthcare and retail sectors.
For the new ALTU Studios on Camden Street, the brief was to create a workspace reflecting the evolving nature of modern working environments. As the practice put it: “In this new world of hybrid working, we’ve taken a close look at our present and future needs to inform a space with flexibility that fosters community, culture and collaboration. As working patterns change, our space can adapt with it.”
To support this vision, Oliver Nolan, Director at ALTU and an award-winning designer with extensive experience across office, retail, leisure, residential and commercial sectors, selected Evergreen Moss panels from Surface Wow.
Evergreen Moss is a 100% genuine preserved moss panel designed for fast, straightforward self-installation. The flexible system allows the creation of a striking natural moss wall that introduces biophilic texture and visual softness into contemporary interiors. Manufactured using specially preserved reindeer moss, the panels are mounted onto flexible 380 x 580 mm sheets, making them suitable for flat, convex or concave applications — whether wrapping around features or forming a full moss wall installation. Beyond visual impact, the panels are completely maintenance-free, requiring no light, water or feeding, and can absorb up to 90% of the sound that hits the surface, supporting improved acoustic comfort within the workspace.
