For the Wow of the Month – September Edition, we’re sharing a project we’re genuinely excited about: Dundrum House, by Rain Ann Design. They were kind enough to let us showcase it here, and we loved it so much we knew it deserved to be seen by more people.

The Dundrum House is a family home that had belonged to the same family for a previous generation, before undergoing a complete architectural redesign. Rain Ann Design was brought in to reimagine the interiors, starting from an unusual brief: the husband and wife had two very different design instincts, one industrial and raw, the other warmer and Mediterranean. Rather than choosing one, the team built a concept around both — industrial meets Mediterranean.

That contrast shaped the material palette. Corten steel, real and reinterpreted through Wall Rapture finishes, brought warmth and an industrial edge, while raw concrete-effect surfaces added architectural weight. Natural materials softened the mix, including a bespoke Palladiana-style floor made from broken stone slabs inspired by sun-worn Mediterranean paving. Timber, curtains and upholstery brought warmth and softness, balancing the harder surfaces.

Wall Rapture was chosen for its raw, tactile, mineral-concrete quality combined with a refined finish,  a surface with subtle variation and movement that shifts with the light. It held its own against the other materials throughout the home,  contributing to the interplay of refined and raw, warm and cool, smooth and textured, without tipping the residential spaces into feeling minimal or cold. As Rain Ann Design put it, Wall Rapture became another material in the palette of the house, not just a wall finish:
