Crafty is a delightfully Irish-centered earth-friendly gift shop was open by Áine McDonald in 2021. Bringing thoughtful, artistic and exquisite products to the town of Castleblayney, Áine has married her therapeutic background as a psychotherapist with her love for Irish craft.
In 2023 Áine added an amazing Coffee House to Crafty. Using an empty void in the new coffee area she decided to use Corkwall Kite in Green to enhance this space. This unique 3D wall panel is a Cork by product and comes from 100% post-industrial recycled waste which is created without harming the environment. It also has fantastic acoustic values which really helps when Crafty is buzzing with customers (which is always!).
Áine has now created a space that invites people to be mindful and enjoy the pleasure of wandering this mini utopia of coffee, art, craft and self-care! Her ethos is to create excitement when choosing unique and thoughtful gifts to spread the love, protect the earth and support innovative Irish business!
