Located in Malahide, Dublin, Eatzen is a refined modern Asian restaurant where contemporary elegance meets authentic culinary artistry. Designed by Millimetre Design, with Creighan Contracts as main contractor and McKenna & Cairns Joinery as joinery contractors, the brief called for a high-end, serene interior grounded in natural materials, balance and tactile richness.

A defining feature of the space is the use of natural cork wall panels supplied by Surface Wow. Two designs from our GenCork Collection — Corklee and Corkbiomorph — were selected for their organic geometry and sculptural quality. These 3D cork wall panels add depth, warmth and architectural interest while functioning as acoustic cork panels, reinforcing the calm, intimate atmosphere of the dining spaces.

Produced from 100% natural and recyclable cork, the GenCork range is a standout choice of sustainable wall panels, aligned with the client’s ethos of conscious luxury. The tactile warmth of cork contrasts beautifully with marble, brass and considered lighting — demonstrating how innovative cork walls can define both the look and feel of a hospitality interior.
